Privacy Policy & Cookies

Space Air Ltd (Space Air/we/us) is committed to protecting your privacy. We only use your personal information to provide any services you request and to personalise the information we provide to you, with a view to improving communication and accessibility for our customers.

By using our website, you grant us permission to collect but not store any financial data including bank account, credit/debit card information, use and process both the direct and indirect information you provide.

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

We directly collect information from any forms, brochure requests or surveys you complete on our website. This information is only collected when you choose to submit it to us, and may include a postal address, email address, or telephone number.

Information taken from these response forms includes your IP (Internet Protocol) address so that we can track unique visits to our site, for analytical purposes. We may also use this information to provide particular products or information you request, and to occasionally notify you about important functionality or content changes to the website, new Space Air services and special offers.

Each time we contact you, you have the option to decline to receive further marketing information relating to Space Air.

What are cookies?

By using Space Air’s digital products and services you agree to our use of cookies as described in this Cookie Policy.

Cookies are small text files which are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or application. Your web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome) then sends these cookies back to the website or application on each subsequent visit so that they can recognise you and remember things like personalised details or user preferences.

Cookies are very useful and do lots of different jobs which help to make your experience on websites as smooth as possible. For example, they let you move between web pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improving your experience. They can also help to ensure that adverts you see online are more relevant to you and your interests.

They are referred to as session or persistent cookies, depending on how long they are used:

Which cookies do Space Air use?

We use strictly necessary cookies that are essential in helping you to move around and access our secure customer login area. They identify you as being signed in to our customer area, and keep you logged in throughout your visit so that you don’t need to sign in each and every time you visit a page. These are session cookies. These cookies do not gather information about you that could be used for marketing or remembering where you’ve been on the internet.

We also use Google Analytics, a third-party software, to generate detailed statistics about you, the visitors to our website. Cookies allow web analytics services such as Google Analytics to recognise your browser or device and, for example, identify whether you have visited our websites before, what you have previously viewed or clicked on, and how you found us. The information is anonymous and only used for statistical purposes. It allows us to track information, such as how many individual users we have and how often they visit our websites. These are persistant cookies. It also helps us to analyse patterns of user activity and to develop a better user experience. Find out more information on Google Analytics’ Privacy Policy.

How to control your cookies

You can control and manage your cookies, and how to do that is detailed below. Please remember that any settings you change will not just affect Space Air cookies — these changes will apply to all websites that you visit (unless you choose to only block cookies from particular sites).

Most modern browsers will allow you to:

You should be aware that any preferences will be lost if you delete cookies. Ironically, this includes where you have opted out from cookies, as this requires an opt-out cookie to be set. Also, if you block cookies completely many websites will not work properly and some functionality on these websites will not work at all. We do not recommend turning cookies off when using our customer login area for these reasons.

The links below take you to the help sections for each of the major browsers so that you can find out more about how to manage your cookies:

Managing analytics cookies

It is possible to opt out of having your anonymised browsing activity within our websites recorded by analytics cookies. Space Air only uses Google Analytics as an analytics provider and you can opt out of their cookies by clicking on the following link. Please note that this will take you a third party’s website and generate a ‘no thanks’ cookie, which will stop any further cookies being set by that third party.

How does Space Air protect customer information?

The UK Data Protection Act 1998 requires us to follow strict security procedures in the use, storage and disclosure of the information you have provided to us.

Will Space Air disclose personal information it collects to outside parties?

Space Air will never disclose information about you to third parties, except to fulfil your specific product or information orders through the relevant, authorised Space Air dealers, distributors and agents.

In these instances, we require that they only use the information to fulfil your requirements and do not use it for their own marketing purposes.

Third party links

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

Changes to our Privacy Policy

If we change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, use and disclose.
